David López is the managing partner of the firm.

He specializes in litigation practice before the various bodies of the Social Jurisdiction, both in collective and individual proceedings.

Among his professional experience we can highlight the legal direction in various proceedings before the different bodies of the social jurisdiction in matters of challenging collective redundancy, collective conflict, protection of fundamental rights and challenging collective bargaining agreements.

He has also participated as counsel in the defense of corporate interests before the Court of Justice of the European Union.

He also advises on individual and collective dismissals, production decentralization processes; corporate reorganizations (homogenization of contractual conditions and integration of groups); senior management; proceedings before the Labor and Social Security Inspection; modification of working conditions; and labor audits to national and multinational companies in all sectors of activity, mainly large distribution, retail, automotive, pharmaceutical industry, hospitality, tourism, contact center, services and media, among others.

In 1996 he started his activity in COPA ABOGADOS, being partner since 2000 and participating in the integration of the whole team of COPA ABOGADOS as Partner of the Labor Area to a recognized multidisciplinary firm of national and international scope for the period 2018-2020, after which in 2021 he decided to restart the activity as a law firm specialized in the labor area, being appointed partner-director.

He has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1996, as well as of ASNALA, having been recognized in the Best Lawyers directory in the area of Labor Law.

He is a regular speaker at various conferences on labor law issues.
