José Manuel Copa, is a founding partner of the firm.

He carries out her professional activity as a lawyer specialized in Labor and Social Security Law since 1985, intervening in the different bodies of the social jurisdictional order in all types of proceedings, both individual and collective.

He advises on employment law matters to national and multinational companies in sectors such as large retail sector, retail, automotive, pharmaceutical industry, mining, hospitality, tourism, contact center and media, among others.

He has participated in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, equality plans, and collective procedures of all kinds, such as collective dismissals, suspension of contracts, wage suspension, geographic mobility or substantial modifications of working conditions.

In 1993 he founded his own law firm and after a brief stint as Partner Director of the Labor Area of a nationally recognized multidisciplinary firm which he joined in 2018 with all the professionals of the firm, in 2021 they decided to restart the activity as a firm specialized in the labor area constituting the current firm.

He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association since 1985 , as well as ASNALA and FORELAB having been recognized in the directory Best Lawyers in the area of Labor Law .

He is a regular speaker at various conferences on labor law issues and has taught courses on labor relations in the business environment and as a professor in the labor relations module of the Master of Strategic Management of Human Resources of the School of Industrial Organization and in the Master of Foundations of the Autonomous University of Madrid.
